| Vancouver, BC - May 10, 2010 - Corex Gold Corp. (the "Company"), is pleased to report continued exploration success achieved through the first eight holes of the 2010 diamond drilling program on its Santana Property, Sonora State, Mexico. The drill program was designed to follow up on the successful reverse circulation (RC) drilling in 2008-2009. Corex's 2010 diamond drill program confirms the potential for a near surface oxide gold system as well as a large sulfide bearing gold system at depth. El Nicho The drill holes to date tested a 1000 m x 700 m gold soil anomaly coincident with ground magnetic and IP survey anomalies. Drill hole S10-047D which included 31.2 m of 1.55 g/t Au as well as hole S10-48D which included 30.9 m of 1.15 g/t Au were of significant interest. The 2010 drill results have expanded the Nicho Zone at depth by encountering continuous mineralization up to 300 m below surface. The Nicho Zone is open in all directions and at depth. Corex will be testing these targets via RC drilling and diamond drilling.
*Special Section La Tureña La Tureña drill hole S10-050D 59.3 m of 0.8 g/t Au confirms known oxide gold mineralization with significant drill intercepts such as SR09-31 60.8 m of 1.05 g/t Au. The zone measures 400 meters x 200 meters, general strike direction is N30W. The surface expression, as defined by anomalous rock chip/channel samples and alteration, is open on strike to the northwest and southeast and southwest. The gold mineralization is associated with an "intrusive breccia", associated with quartz and hematite stockwork.
*Reported intervals must be at least 1.5 meters wide; drill hole intercepts are reported at a 0.1 g/t Au cutoff or a 0.3 g/t Au cutoff including up to 6.2 m of internal waste. Corex utilizes a comprehensive QA/QC program consisting of blanks, drill rig sample duplicates and reference samples to insure best practices are followed and the data collected is of the highest quality. To date, Corex has drilled 2500 m of the 5000 m diamond drilling program and expects approximately 20 additional drill holes to be released from this program. Bruno Barde P.
